FAQs
-
What is 3D Flex-Stitch Technology and Why?
ororo has redefined heated sock design with our 3D Flex-Stitch Technology, ensuring warmth without sacrificing comfort. While many heated socks lose elasticity and feel stiff where the heating elements are sewn in, ororo's innovative stitching method integrates the heating elements seamlessly over the toes and soles of your feet. This maintains the sock’s natural stretch and drastically reduces the sensation of any wires or heating elements, making them feel like regular socks—only now, they’re heated for added warmth and comfort.
-
Are these socks machine washable?
Yes, the socks are machine washable. Before washing, remove the batteries to prevent damage. We recommend placing the socks in a mesh laundry bag for added protection.
-
How do I adjust the heating levels and what do the LED indicators mean?
The power button is located near the battery pocket on each sock. To turn on or off the heating system, press and hold the power button for 3 seconds. To cycle through the heating settings, press the button briefly:
- High Setting: Red light
- Medium Setting: White light
- Low Setting: Blue light

This new sock is greatly improved over the previous model. It is much more comfortable and fits much better, escpecially around the calf.
They work quite well. I first tried Mobile Warming/Field Sheer heated socks, and after having three pairs fail in less than 6 months it was obvious their socks were not worth a penny in a bucket of feces.
These socks are far superior !
I have only one complaint having to do with the operating button. As stated by some in the reviews, the settings can be inadvertently changed by a bump into something or just by crossing your legs. The button needs to be recessed, not protruding. But, until they remedy this problem you can wear the left sock on the right foot and the right sock on the left foot.
This puts the button on the inside of the calf, making an inadvertent change to the setting much less likely.
Even better than a recessed operating button, is Field Sheer’s idea of a operating button on a fob that can be attached to an outside zipper of your clothing is much more handy than having to roll up your pants leg to make a change to the setting, or having to pull your phone out to use an app to make a change.
This slight design change would make a good sock, great !
the replacement socks work fine so far , the frist pair the left sock never worked well
I live in MN and do outdoor markets/craft fairs. A few of them are in Feb, Nov, and Dec. I was gifted a pair of the Ororo Socks and Mittens. I just used them for the first time at an 8 hour outdoor event and was amazed. My toes are usually the first to get cold but these kept my feet cozy at a nice comfortable temp. They didn't get super hot and sweaty but kept the chill away while standing on cold ground for almost 12 hours. The batteries did die after about 5 hours and I ended up taking the batteries out of my mittens and putting pitting them in my socks. My only issue is that I have small feet, but large calves so it was a little slug.
I’m a women’s 11 and the small fits me well. Per the side chart I should be a medium so I recommend ordering a size down. If you have small feet probably don’t get these socks.
