    FAQs

    • How to choose my size?

We recommend using the size guide (located next to the size options) on the product page to find your perfect size by comparing it to your body measurements. If you need further assistance, please contact us at support@ororowear.com

    • Can I wear it on the plane or put it in carry-on bags?

Sure, you can wear it on the plane. All ororo heated apparel is TSA-friendly. All ororo batteries are lithium batteries and you must keep them in your carry-on luggage.

    • Will the heated apparel work at temperatures below 32℉/0℃?

Yes, it will still work well. However, if you’re going to spend a lot of time in sub-zero temperatures, we recommend you purchase a spare battery so you don’t run out of heat!

    Review

"I have tried several different brands of Heated finger gloves over the years. These "Glasgow" glove liners are thee best. Spendy, but well worth it in the long run.You won't be dissappointed."

"These liners are keeping my fingers and thumb from getting cold. So I am very happy."

"I needed something to allow for finger dexterity to get small items from my pockets when outside in the barn. Regular glove fingers are too bulky, but the glove liner fingers are thinner than regular glove fingers and do exactly what I needed them to do."

Gloves seem a little tight and hoping they stretch out a bit but like that the gloves now have the heat through the fingers/

Not waterproof, but liners alone can be used as functional gloves for the right situation

They kept my hands cold while outdoors working. If fit well, though I had to exchange them for the two XL to get the finger length I needed. The exchange process was painless. They won't hold up under outdoor work but will keep your hands warm in cold weather.

I purchased these in a small according to my measurements. They were far too small and short on my fingers. Exchanged them for a medium and they fit much better. I might have even been able to go up to a large, but I'm sticking with the medium as I'd rather not have to wait to return/exchange them again. The material is soft fleece and the heating on the top of my hand and fingers is nice. I wish the heating was in the palms and underside of the fingers also for an all around heating, but they still help. I have Raynaud's and as a result, get cold pretty quickly/easily. I can see how these are going to be helpful when out hiking and camping and imagine that if I'm moving around, my hands will warm up much faster than without the added heat. I do wish the heat was a little warmer as even on high it feels like a low heat, but again, once I'm out in the elements and moving around, I'm guessing it'll still be helpful. I'm excited to put these to the test out in the elements very soon!

Four stars minus, but do read on for the why. First, thank you for a product that keeps these six decade old hands from being frozen while snow skiing. I used them inside new Hestra gloves and the Ororo outer glove and while I won't say my hands were toasty, they were warm enough for skiing in the intermountain west where I live, and where skiing temps this time of the year run from single digits to the mid twenties. For this I would recommend them with a few caveats. The days I've used them started around 5 degrees and warmed to around 15 in the afternoon, for context.

The battery pack sits inside the wrist and while that doesn't impede a pole plant, it did mean the gauntlet on the Ororo outer glove was very stretched and not easily pulled over the outer coat layer and the battery pouch. I would recommend ordering a size up if buying the outer glove also. Also, it meant that I unknowingly changed the temperature setting several times, this seems very easy to do. I will watch more closely in the future to avoid closing the coat cuff on the selector button. Other than those two items, the liner performed acceptably.

My suggestion to ORORO would be to offer a slimmer battery pack with a reduced life, I believe this would be acceptable for some of us. These could be easily switched out mid-day and then I recommend moving the temperature controller to the back of hand to improve accessibility and away from outer coat cuff closure.

Nevertheless, I would recommend the ORORO heated glove liners to keep those cold clear days on your skiing calendar. They work well of other winter outings also, like walking the dog, warming the car, you know winter activities.
