Sure, you can wear it on the plane. All ororo heated apparel is TSA-friendly. All ororo batteries are lithium batteries and you must keep them in your carry-on luggage. -
Will the heated apparel work at temperatures below 32℉/0℃?
Yes, it will still work well. However, if you’re going to spend a lot of time in sub-zero temperatures, we recommend you purchase a spare battery so you don’t run out of heat! -
Does the hoodie heat the hood itself?
No, the heating elements are concentrated in the body and neck area to maintain core temperature. The hood is designed with thick fleece to trap the heat rising from the neck heating zone. -
How does the "Unisex" sizing translate for men and women?
The sizing is based on a standard Men’s fit. Men should order their usual size. Women are generally advised to size down by one (e.g., if you typically wear a Women's Medium, consider a Unisex Small). -
Where is the battery stored while wearing the hoodie?
The battery is tucked away in a specially designed internal pocket, usually located in the lower-left area, to ensure it doesn't interfere with your movement or comfort. -
Is it safe to wear in light rain or snow?
While the heating elements are insulated, fleece is not waterproof. If the hoodie becomes damp, it is safe to continue using, but if it becomes soaked, we recommend turning off the power and drying the garment.

I love all things Ororo. I have felt vest, winter coats, gloves, socks, and recent purchase hoodie. Love their gear!
I love the quality of this piece, but the fit isn’t great. After receiving it and trying it on, I was hoping I could order an extra small, but that’s not an option. The shoulders fit wide and boxy on me and the length is a little long. I think if it fit a little narrower through the shoulders, I would be happier. I will likely have to layer this over another sweatshirt. For reference, I am 5‘6“ tall and weigh 130 lbs.
I have a Ororo vest and a light jacket that are used for sporting events and travel. The jacket and vest are warm in themselves, but I can always turn on the heated areas and get that extra warmth when required. These garments allow a great deal of flexibility without having to bring several layers of clothing.
This company stands by their product! Amazing customer service as well. They helped me expedite a large order for my team to make sure I had wrap gifts for my crew on time. My team ABSOLUTLEY LOVED their heated hoodies. I already owned an Ororo Jacket and loved it and this hoodie is the most comfrotable piece of cold weather gear I own now.
