FAQs
What is junior’s sizing
Junior’s sizing is a unique segment within the apparel industry that is specific to young women that bridges the gap from children’s wear to women’s wear. Women can still wear junior’s clothing, but will need to size up accordingly. Refer to the sizing chart to confirm your size. How to choose my size?
We recommend using the size guide (located next to the size options) on the product page to find your perfect size by comparing it to your body measurements. If you need further assistance, please contact us at support@ororowear.comWill the heated apparel work at temperatures below 32℉/0℃?
Yes, it will still work well. However, if you’re going to spend a lot of time in sub-zero temperatures, we recommend you purchase a spare battery so you don’t run out of heat!

The Fit -
This is the first piece of heated gear that has ever fit me! I'm about 5'0 tall, 100-105 pounds. bust 33-34, waist 26-28, hips 31-32. I especially have issues because I have very little in the way of a rear end. When looking at the sizing, I was afraid the vest would be too small, because my chest is larger than the sizing recommendation. But the S had such a large hip size I decided to try the XS. It is a PERFECT fit.
You do not need to have a 31 inch chest to fit this!! I wear a 32 C/C+ or a 34 B/C and this fits SO COMFORTABLY. The size can easily withstand any weight gain or loss. It gives me plenty of room which is nice for layering.
It is SO hard to find good quality cold gear in my size. I'm SO glad Ororo introduced this Junior size, the adult size even in xs would have been like a potato sack.
Being smaller (I'm not even that small I'm just short and XD) the cold is unbearable for me. I have severe Raynauds as well. It affects every extremity. It even numbs my ears, nose etc. It is excruciatingly painful, and living in the Pacific Northwest has been a living hell. I am also extremely sensitive to fabrics (eczema) and heavy clothing. This vest is the first thing that has been able to keep me warm while maintaining my mobility! In the week that I have had this thing, I've been able to actually do things. I'm not terrified of the winter anymore (seriously being in constant pain, and not being able to go out for fear of painful cold has been horrible.)
It is VERY light. Almost all apparel bothers me. Either its an itchy fabric, the fabric is too heavy, I feel like I'm waddling my arms in a potato sack (or I'll feel constricted,) or the noise of the fabric rubbing together is like nails on a chalkboard (almost all winter coats sound like this to me and I'll start shivering uncontrollably.) This does NOT bother me. Its actually comfortable!
I was a bit unsure about the idea of a vest at first, but the Juniors only came in vests. However I LOVE vests now. I feel like I can be much more active due to the arm freedom. I do have to wear a light long sleeve shirt and gloves occasionally but not as much as I expected.
The other plus is that the armpits don't sweat as much XD
The warming-It is fantastic. I am ordering a second non-mini battery as the mini battery does run out of juice. But the medium-low settings
will absolutely last me a short day out, a basement decluttering session etc. I've also found that the heating of the core is really calming.
I would absolutely recommend this to anybody.
I do hope Ororo will continue to make high quality things for people my size. The smaller you are (including height) the more vulnerable you are to the cold! I heard the kids line is coming soon, and I hope it doesn't skimp on quality. My feet and hands are kid sized and I would love to have things that actually fit (although my hands/feet are wide and short so I can never expect anything)
Anyways. I live in this vest now. I adore it. It makes everything better.
So glad I made this purchase.
